Speedy Spicy Lemon Shrimp

 

For a simple, meal that’s full of both flavor and protein, and best yet, cooks in just minutes, try this spicy lemon shrimp. Serve with a cool, crisp salad and a side of pre-cooked quinoa.

½ teaspoon paprika

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon cumin

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

A dash of cayenne pepper

½ lb peeled shrimp

½ tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

 

Combine seasonings in a medium bowl. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat with the seasoning. In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook about 2 minutes on each side. The shrimp is done when it turns pink and curls. Finally, toss the shrimp with fresh lemon juice.
