1.) What is your favorite exercise that you use most frequently to train your clients, and why?
The exercise I use most with my clients is a dumbbell power Row or a power Snatch depending on their level of fitness or needed modifications. Its a very diverse, full-body exercise that utilizes several muscle groups including your core, and it helps elevate the heart rate. The Snatch is very easy to modify for clients who need modifications.
2.) How do you stay motivated throughout the year to stick to your fitness routine?
I always try to find some time to workout in between clients or RedZone workouts, even if it’s just a quick lift or cardio session. One thing I enjoy doing is challenging several my clients with the same workout, and I do it as well to see how everybody compares and does. It’s a fun way to keep myself exercising as well as develop a culture between several people.
3.) What tip would you give to people that are struggling to stay on track?
Baby steps. Rome wasn’t built overnight, and you won’t achieve your goals overnight. Wake up every single day and get better at something, no matter how small it may seem. A lot of little things eventually adds up to big things.
4.) What is your favorite inspirational quote or mantra?
Don’t think about, just do it! Complaining won’t make it better, so just make it happen!
