Does Pivotal Fitness have a Women's Only Gym?

Unlike many health clubs, Pivotal Fitness Centers offers , a ladies only gym, which allows female members to workout without distraction.

What are the fitness centers hours?
  • Monday thru Friday 5am to 11pm
  • Saturday 8am to 8pm
  • Sunday 12pm to 6pm

What is the guest policy?

Pivotal Fitness encourages members to introduce their friends and co-workers to the health club. Members may obtain a one-day complimentary pass from the fitness center staff. Qualifying guests must be a first-time health club visitor, at least 18 years of age, and a resident of the area.

What are the guest visit fees?

A standard guest fee for a return visit to Pivotal Fitness is $15 per day.

How do members and guests check in?

Members and guests must show their Pivotal Fitness membership card at the front desk with each visit. The health club reserves the right to require members and guests to provide additional photo identification and members must be current on fees to use the health club or attend a group fitness class.

Is there a charge for replacing a membership card?

Yes, a charge of $5 is required for replacement cards. Contact the front desk for a new card when you visit the fitness center.

Is there a charge for attending exercise classes for members - for non-members?

There are no charges for attending a group fitness class for members and non-members/guests. Non-members/guests may be asked to pay a fee of $15 per day for return visits.

Where can I find an exercise class or group fitness schedule?

How can I find a fitness instructor or personal trainer?

To learn more about personal training programs or to schedule an appointment, ask at the front desk of any fitness center to introduce your to a trainer or call 843-571-5858. The Pivotal Fitness Personal Training staff is the best in the business and is ready to design a customized program just for you. They will be with you every step of the way to provide motivation, education and encouragement.

Pivotal Fitness personal trainers are NCCA certified and are required to receive ongoing continuing education. When you join the club we schedule an free personal training session for you to assess your fitness levels, set measurable goals and discuss nutritional habits. You also receive a full week of fitness coaching to get your workout goals off to a great start.

Does Pivotal Fitness have a weight loss program?

Pivotal Fitness offers a nationally recognized weight loss program, Then&Healthy's Total Solution. Additionally, each of our health and fitness clubs provide a variety of resources for members focused on weight loss. For more information, call 843-571-5858.

What is the towel policy at Pivotal Fitness?

We sell hand towels but do not provide personal towels. Members are required to have a personal towel to wipe equipment upholstery after use as a courtesy to other members.

What is Pivotal Fitness dress code?

Athletic attire and shorts are required in all fitness areas. Tank tops are allowed, but must cover the entire chest and back. Street clothes are not allowed in the fitness areas. Ragged clothing, cut-offs, half shirts and swimsuits are not permitted. Black soled shoes are not permitted on wooden floors. Flip-flops and open-toed sandals are discouraged from use when exercising for safety reasons.

What kind of exercise equipment does each fitness center have?

Pivotal Fitness health clubs are exceptionally well equipped. Every fitness center provides hundreds of exercise machines, strength machines and pieces of free weight equipment. Some of the popular lines we utilize include Life Fitness, Hammer Strength, Precor, Nautilus, Lemond and Cycle Ops.

How should members take care of the equipment?

Members are required to use equipment only in the manner intended by the manufacturer. Please follow the instructions on equipment placards. If you are unsure on how to use a particular piece of equipment, please consult with our fitness staff. Members may not move or modify the equipment in any way. If you believe that any piece of equipment is not operating properly, please contact fitness center management. Do not use the equipment if you are taking a medication that causes drowsiness or have a medical condition which makes such use inappropriate. All free weights should be returned to the racks at all times when not in use. Please do not set them on the floor, lean them on the machines or against the walls.

What items are allowed on the exercise floor?

Water in an enclosed container is the only beverage allowed on the exercise floor. Members are requested to carry a personal towel to wipe off machines after use. Personal yoga mats and other props may be used in exercise rooms but are not allowed in aerobic machine or weight rooms. Members may carry a personal audio player, but not if it is integrated into a mobile phone. The use of mobile phones is not allowed anywhere in the fitness center. Sweatshirts, jackets, gym bags, food, and all personal effects are not allowed in the exercise areas. These items should be kept in the fitness center lockers.

Does Pivotal Fitness offer childcare?

We offer two options for kids:

  1. Childcare is provided for children 6 weeks through 6 years in the Nursery
  2. The Pivotal Fitness KidZONE program is provided for children 7 trhough 13 years of age.
KidZONE children are required to have a membership.

Children are not permitted anywhere in the health club other than the child care areas. Minors aged 14 through 17 are permitted in the workout area but only if they are members and accompanied by a parent or guardian. Members accompanied by children to the fitness center must be on the premises at all times. Children will be released from the Nursery only to the parent or guardian who originally accompanied the child to the Nursery.

We do not feed or change diapered children.

We request that parents provide a baby carrier or rocker seat for pre-walking children. We do not allow children to bring personal toys or food to childcare. Children with obvious signs of illness or behavior issues are not allowed in the childcare areas.

Does each club have locker rooms?

Yes, each Pivotal Fitness health club has separate male and female locker rooms.

Does each facility have lockers?

Yes. Lockers are available for daily use only. Please bring a lock to secure your items in the dressing rooms. Our insurance does not cover lost or stolen articles, so please keep your valuables locked up at all times. If you do not have a lock, put your valuables in the trunk of your car. Any valuables found by Pivotal staff (such as watches, jewelry and sunglasses) are locked at the front desk for safekeeping. No valuables are returned prior to the member giving a detailed verbal description. Other items go to the Lost and Found.
