James is a graduate of Swansea High School where he played center for their football team. After graduating he got a football scholarship to a junior college in Minnesota. He had an unfortunate accident during his first football game of the season where he injured his knee. Following his knee surgery he decided to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. Charleston 90 Day Challenge

In February, members embarked on a 90 Day Challenge program. The purpose of the program was to help members focus on their New Year’s Resolutions and help carry them through the Spring. They learned about nutrition, how to vary their exercise programs, and had weekly group workouts with a trainer. Of the 10 members that finished the challenge, they collectively lost 183.5 inches and over 129 pounds. That’s over 15 feet of fat that’s gone thanks to their dedication!
